Hi, I'm Dr. Steve.

I grew up in a small town off the shores of Lake Erie, in Norfolk County. I was fortunate that very early on in my life, I felt a calling to be a chiropractor. By the age of 16 I had already laid out a plan for myself and was committed to making it happen. At that same time I remember Paul Brandt's song "Small Towns and Big Dreams" had just released.. that was going to be my theme song.

My big dream for our small town is simple: I want to positively impact over a thousand families in the LaSalle community.

My commitment: I will teach you the principles, tools, ideas, and frameworks I have personally battle-tested—to help your family live a happier and healthier life.

My Life

Kayla & Olive

Kayla and I met within a month of my moving back to Canada after Chiropractic School. Our first conversations were geeking out over neurology and our difference in preferences for olives (look up the olive theory). Now we’re engaged, with an adorable Bernese, Olive 🐾
We've moved to LaSalle from London to be closer to family and start one of our own.

My Family

Both my parents, Steve Sr. and Rosemary, taught my sister Vanessa and I the value of hard work. My mom was a nurse for over 35 years, and my father a millwright. The impact of having two truly supportive and hardworking parents is a huge part of my story. I know it sounds cliché, but I wouldn't be where I am today without their support. My parents, sister, and family mean the world to me.

New Zealand

Moving to the other side of the world to study at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic was one of the best decisions I ever made, but it wasn't easy.

The thought of leaving friends and family behind for 4 years pushed me far outside of my comfort zone, but that discomfort was a big part of my growth, both professionally and as a person.

In 2020 I graduated as valedictorian of our graduating class.

I am still involved with the college, sharing my personal story and experience with prospective university students, in hopes that I can inspire others to become future chiropractors, and make an even bigger impact in our communities.

Health & Fitness

I've had a passion for health and human performance since I was 14 years old. After graduating from Western University in 2015, I became a certified Strength & Conditioning Coach. I was living out my dream of programming and training some of the best athletes in the NHL, CFL, NCAA and CIS. It was fun, but my true calling was becoming a Corrective Chiropractor.

The more I learned about Chiropractic, the more I fell in love with it. I think it's philosophy on health is a more relevant reminder today than ever before - you were designed to be healthy. Healthy is normal. Health is already inside of you.

I love connecting families to their optimal health potential.

One of my mentors, Dr. Jamie Richards says, "You have to live it, to lead it". I'm blessed that living the Connected Lifestyle™ and teaching others how is part of my 'job title' - a part that I love.
